This policy explains what information Grabsta collects, why, and how it's used. We built Grabsta to require as little personal data as possible — the free tier works with no account at all.

2. Information we collect

• Usage data: the Instagram links or usernames you submit, used only to fetch and display the requested content, and not linked to your identity.
• Local download counters: your daily free-download count is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.
• Account data (paid plans only): if you upgrade, we collect an email address and billing information, handled by our payment processor.
• Basic analytics: aggregated, non-identifying traffic data (pages visited, browser type) to help us improve the Service.

3. What we don't collect

We never ask for your Instagram username or password, and we don't store copies of the media you download.

4. How we use information

Information is used solely to operate the Service: fetching requested content, enforcing daily limits, processing payments for paid tiers, and improving reliability.

5. Third-party services

Paid plans are processed through a third-party payment provider, which handles your card details directly — Grabsta never sees or stores full payment information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and billing data only as long as your account is active, or as required by law. Local download counters remain only in your own browser and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser storage.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any account data we hold by contacting us. If you're in a region covered by GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, you have the rights afforded under those frameworks.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your daily free-download count on your device. No cross-site tracking cookies are used.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
